I think Tony is speaking Tolkien's dwarfish, but I'm not certain. It's a form of Runic writing, and that's the one I always come up with first
.
Although I've remember it's a thread of Myst language stories, as I've never played Myst I thought it must be a form of Elvish that Greg is speaking, as it's much more stylish, sleek smooth and flowing. More Elvish than Dwarfish, which was chiselled out of rock like all runes and therefore blocky as straight lines are much easier to chip away.
Also I think runes make an appearance in Ultima Online, but i never played that so I'm not certain. I remember my brother playing it years back, and I think that kind of rune appeared on his beloved Britannia map.

Zapper - *zappp*
zap verb (zapped, zapping) (slang) 1 attack or destroy something forcefully.
2 change quickly from one section of a videotape etc. to another.

I cant remember, it's been a while since I read through Tolkien, but I remember he got upset about Elvish/Elfish or Dwarvish/Dwarfish. I just cant remember which one it was

Greg is speaking D'ni, the language of the Myst series. I don't know what Tony is speaking, but it's in runes, so it's Dwarven runic (probable) or some old Norse/Saxon script (less probable)

well, let's see if we can translate this....
Greg: noref tagam bihv reevti tso dni
Translated: (finally to know all [reevti] of D'Ni)
.....so he actually went to the trouble of translating the words and THEN using the alphabet....attention to detail much?
As for Tony, it looks a lot like Cirth (a tolkien script used for dwarvish (yes, dwarvISH) and actually some Elvish as well) but it's not quite right. If you take a look at the runes (in my link below), you'll see that some of Greg's aren't in the chart. It is most definely Runic, but maybe Greg can shed some light on just what language it is.
And if you're wondering where I got my information, here's the Links
The D'ni Alphabet
Guild of Linguists - D'ni
D'ni Dictionary - VERY expansive
The Interactive Pocket D'ni Encyclopedia - downloadable program that translates for you
And for the Cirth/Dwarvish:
Cirth Runes
I'd love to finish the translation, but I'm very very sleepy....maybe tomorrow, for the D'ni part, anyways. Unless Greg would like to make it easier and tell us....or at least tell me what reevti/reevtee means, and the source to be able to translate further.

Or then again, it could be from Ultima Online

....I feel stupid....

...after all, the Myst comic comes in the wake of Greg giving up UO, and filling his time by learning D'ni....

Dwarves belong to a macho race where the men are men, and the women are too.
What the heck is wrong with you people. Tony is using the britannic alphabet from the ultima seires. I'm suprised someone hasn't said this yet. Back in the day you could post something in that alphabet online and it was a safe bet about half the people could just read it out right. The games would actually display some text using only those symbols.
The conversation goes like this.
Greg: *dni*
Tony: I may not speak dni, but I can confuse you with runic.
Greg: no *dni* me *dni* my nocabulary.
Greg: I hope youre happy.
