So then what does he call it, MB?

I was looking for some connection, because I think diet and brain function tend to go together. I hesitate to bring these up, because this so called "tortilla factor" seems like yet another social darwinism theory.

Story 1 is about fortified tortillas improving children's lives (and tripling their growth rate) in impoverished areas, mentioning nothing about brains. Story 2 is long and boring looking, mentioning a relationship between malnutrition during brain development to being worse at school later.

This seems like it would hold water, but kind of sucks because it can piss people off, coming off as a blanket generalization. I'm sure Deacon heard the term somewhere, or has some source for this allegation.

I think it would be a bit of a stretch to link the dumbass marathon that is MEChA to a XXXXXXXX factor, espicially since those jackasses are from the good ol' USofA, and somehow going to school with me.

D-Mac, we'd moved beyond MECHa to other issues with the culture from which it spawned :P
