The new XBox looks like a white imtation of a PS2.
Why? Because it's fairly squarish in shape?
The DVD drive is on the other side, it side mounts on the opposite end, it has a concave shape to it, the power button is completely different. That's like saying DVD players look like VCRs.

why they cant call it the Xbox 2 is beyond me, maybe its because they would see themselves as being 1 behind the playstation, maybe they should take a leafout of Al Lowes book and skip one entirely, maybe a couple and just reales the Xbox 5, just not the Xbx 360 which justs sounds shit, so i'll probably just call it the xbox 2 anyway

Nekra, they call it that because the average customer would think "3 is better than 2." You may not believe it but just there day I was in Electronic Boutique and a guy came in asking what the difference between the systems. The lady at the counter said X-box 2 and PS3, at which point the guy said "Oh, so the PS3 is better?"
unsigged. For the children.

they do...
As for PS3 vs. XBox2 .... it hurts my head and my SOUL to think that people are actually THAT FUCKING DUMB.
I want to know why 360, as that implies that they did some sort of turn, but didn't change anything and kept on going in the same direction, but turned for some sort of thing. 360 implies a revolution, in a way, yet at the same time also implies that the revolution has come back to where it started, so everything's still the same, so ... yeah. WTF, mates?
Why not just call it the NeXtBox?

it was labeled the 360 because the gamer is suposed to be "the center" with everything revolving around them. They get to make the choices and blah blah blah... whatever. Marketing BS.
Another reason it is called the 360 is that it is supposed to be the center of the home entertainment with it's capabilities to hook up to just about any media device that you can connect to a Windows computer, including (and they put a big emphasis on this) the iPod and PSP.
The 360 has the ability to control music, movies, pictures, voice/picture confrencing as well as... you know... whatdoyacallits.... oh, videogames.

How do you get that from "360"? If they wanted THAT, why not call it the Core, or the Helios? (Ooooh, that'd make a cool system name - the Sony Helios).

Jesus Christ, who cares?
What I'm still not sure about is the xbox 360 wi-fi compatible? Will I be able to play from my room late at night?

Obviously, I care, because I'm curious.
I never said it matters, just that it's silly.
