Barbells look so much better in my opinion. I'm also lead to believe that a ring is more prone to migrating since it can move around a lot more, and "drags" on the holes.

Barbells look better.
:P

What is the best way to get a CBR bead back IN? I actually bent (effectively destroying it) the ring of my nipple ring trying to do this. Now I'm stuck with what is essentially a decoration ring instead of a daily wear until I can get out and by a new one.

The best way is to use pliers, preferably the proper cbr opening pliers like this: http://pierceoff.com.au/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductId=781 (I'm sure there are cheaper ones around).

This is why I shy away from CBRs, sometimes they're a pain to get out.

Rekindling this post!

I had my eyebrow pierced on Saturday! I know, not a big deal or anything to some but I've been wanting to get it done for AGES! I'm not to sure what size the guy put in but it is quite small and is a metallic blue titanium barbell and is VERY comfy! I'll put piccies up when they are allowed :)

I like it, for what it's worth.

The other one is covered by a patch, because she's a pirate. She did the piercing herself with the unusually fine point at the end of the hook on her hand.

I think the whole, "Respect others" thing has been said to death, but yea.
Tattoos, for some, can be very meaningfull things. Or, they can take on meaning after the fact. Or, they can be trash that you'll just get removed when you can afford it, that you got when you were way too drunk.
My tats have a lot to do with my family. I wanted one when I was 16, so my mom (who is fairly tattooed herself) told me that I should never get something that's not going to mean something to me. That and don't get mens' names tattooed either. (Oh, and I now have 4 tats, 4 years later. And no mens' names! :P)
So, that's my philosophy on it too. Get something meaningful. Maybe it'll only mean something to you, but that's ok. Maybe it'll get a new meaning. And make it as silly as you like. But, it seems like a huge waste to get a body modification if you're not going to look at it every day and think, "Ah, remember that time?" Or maybe, "Wow, I'm really glad I got this!" Or even, "Oh crap..I forgot to take it out before work! D'oh!" Heh!
If you do it, have fun with it, enjoy the experience! It's your body, after all, do what you feel is right to do with it!
