I dunno. Like Jamie points out the spider isnt actually as big as it first appears. I am guessing that it is only a couple inches across, maybe 4 max.

maybe its body is it only 4 inches Max. With legs it probally spans closer to 8.

Don't forget to use the sliding glass door and curtain rod as area of comparison as well.
