The size seems to vary abit, but most are 12oz.

Oldfashioned's are mostly 8 ounces.

Luckly the human body has a natural safety valve for such things. It is honestly very difficult to get alcohol poisoning. Even consuming an entire fifth in one go is not enough to do it, unless it's 151, Everclear, or some other such 100+ proof drink.

In my hay days of drinking, I was able to quit drinking 8hrs before work and still blow a 1.5+ when I showed up. Found this out when we were playing with the PPE (type of portable breathalizer) and I'm still here pestering you guys. Scariest part was, no one realized I was always walking around with a BAC that high nearly all the time.

Update:

I only purposely got shitfaced once (a few months ago). It wasn't easy for me (it was about 12 shots of Captain Morgan's Tatoo a full glass of whiskey and half a can of American Piss (I mean, Budweiser

)). Now that I have, I'll never do *that* again. I still drink mind you...I just know when I've had enough. Which is how people *should* drink.

i think i was 15, it was only a year or so ago. ahh... good times. came home piss drunk after partying out at my friends house. i had 7 or 8 MGDs, part of a king cobra, and a little vodka. i couldn't walk a straight line, slurred constantly, and to top it all off i was on the phone with my friend and the song return to sender came on the radio and i started singing it on the top of my lungs and forgot he was on the phone. then i walked home at 12 pm and walked in the door face to face with my mom, then when she asked me if i was drunk i ran into the bathroom and worshipped the porcelin god for about a half an hour straight.

I was about thirteen and my brother knew I was going into high school, so he took me to one of his high school parties and introduced me to a ton of great people. It was a long night (or rather morning thereafter), but fun.

1.5L of vodka in 2 hrs. BA of 0.33. i had mild alcohol poisoning. you know its bad when 33% of your blood is alcohol.

Uh, I'm pretty sure that would mean 0.33% alcohol, which is still quite high. If the liquid coursing through your veigns were 2 parts blood, 1 part alcohol, you'd be 100% dead.
