Play it at a friends house first. $50 is a lot to put down without being able to return it or sell it. I learned that the hard way...

I know a lot of people who would say the opposite. ^.~

You can get FFXI for as low as $20 these days if you look, and the first month is free... not too bad, really.

It's not bad. I love the world and a lot of things about the game. The only problem is it's slow. Really slow. And you practically can't solo past level 20. But it's not a bad game.

Meh. FFXI and WoW both suck.

(I'm just a little burnt out after Battlegrounds turned out to be such a flop.)

Edit: I should really pay attention to the dates on these posts. Technically this was a new post to me...
