How do you know when a drummer's at your door?

He never knows when to come in

What do you call a guitarist with no girlfriend?

Homeless.

Classically trained people have posted in here. I know they have, because apparently I posted in here when this thread was first made. So nyeh.

This year, I'm playing bass clarinet in our school's concert band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and I <3 it so. Last year I played regular clarinet, which was too high and squeaky for my taste. Bassoon I love, but I cannot play it, because it is impossible.

But, more than anything, I LOVE playing marimba.

My best friend owns one of the largest marimbas I've ever seen, hand-crafted in Mexico. It's got some amazingly ornate woodworking in the detail, and the sound of it is simply amazing.

This Christmas, I added a new musical instrument to my list: Didgeridoo. I'm having an absolute blast with it. I've even gotten a beginning grasp on circular breathing, so I can play for more than 3 seconds without dropping the note.
Reading Perl is like reading music. It can be a little hard to get into at first, but once you can read it, it's like food for the soul.

As I've got on my thread under my hello speech, I play guitars and piano/keyboards. But I sing horribly. I love playing, have been for almost 6 years now. If you wanna hear my horrible project: Embers of Autumn, check it out. Don't say I didn't warn ya though http://www.purevolume.com/embersofautumn

I despair at the lack of classical people on here.
Another classical here. In fact, I just finished an Allegro on the piano, and I have written other pieces as well (for piano) as well as pieces for the Organ. I have written a few string quartets as well. I have also become the one-and-only organist for my church, as well as backup choir director. Which means, she gets odd months, I get even months.

Ah, that brings back the days of Piano, I had this one piece I learned called Allegro Furioso, Fortissimo almost all the way through. I loved that piece. I'm a violent piano player.. :D

I used to sing in church and school choirs, but my current schedule prevents choir activity

I've been a percussionist for about 5 years. I also play the bass guitar.

I'm in a ska band called Project 226. We're going to start recording here in the near future, and I might post some songs here if we're too terrible, and I'm not too shy. :P

I'm classicly trained!

I started out on double bass, and then got an electric. I've been playing double bass for 9 years and electric for 5 years :3. I have A Music Man Stingray 5. Its sexy. Recently I got a Celtic Lap Harp and i'm learning to play that. I should be getting A clarinet soon too. I really wanna get a lute, balalaika, sitair and a Pipe organ!

And I see music jokes! ::Feels need to add::

What did the Drummer get on his SAT?

Drool

HOLY THREDREZ, BATMAN!

Yeah, didn't want to start another one and get flamed for it, so yeah.

Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Piano, Alto-Tenor-Bari Saxophone, Electric Guitar, Flute, Trumpet(not very well), Percussio, and more Vocals.

I have my own music coming out in December, as soon as I get some spare time to mix it correctly. Stupid SoundForge...
Do or do not. There is no try.
