So what's up?

Post by DeSoto » Wed Jun 22, 2005 10:26 pm

Hey. DeSoto here. Named for the car, or at least the Sam and Max incarnation. Mostly because it sounds cool, and it wasn't taken. Longtime reader, firstime poster. Uh. Lemme do a rundown.

Live in Southern Ontario.

Working Part-time at an unnamed major convenience store for the summer. Attending Sophomore Year at U of T in September.

Asian, and a twinkie to boot.

Spoken for.

Favorite Bands include;
The Allman Brothers Band
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Black Sabbath
AC/DC
GNR
Cream
Neutral Milk Hotel
Billy Talent
RUSH
The Beatles (Of course.)
The Who
David Bowie
Pink Floyd
Led Zepplin
Peter Frampton
Steppenwolf
Queen
The Doors
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Franz Ferdinad
Nine Inch Nails
Soundgarden
Apocalyptica
Rhapsody
The Mars Volta

So as you probably figured out by now, I'm a huge Music-head. Big fan of the long wailing solos (See "Freebird" off "One More From the Road" by Lynyrd Skynyrd), rich guitar sounds, and not opposed to three or more in a band to deepen the sound.

Expect me around, I guess.

Yeah, I get that a lot. That would explain why telemarketers don't bother my house very often.

No they no longer ring the bell at all.

Not when after answering the door in cammy fatigues and a NRA "Armed with Pride" t shirt on..

Serves them right, I was running late to the range. :D
