Nope. Searches of the Jersey shoreline come up with numbers still in those ranges. This is pretty constant across the country.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

If it's not that far away from MD then I might be able to.... I probably have a lot of miles travelled with UA I could get a free ticket or something. :P

Three acres?! Jeez you are talking a big house...

I was thinking of a McMansion on a half acre lot.... :D

Well MB, If you do decide on a NJ shore house, or Pocono retreat, let me know - I can probably check it out for you. It might also be a good idea once you narrow down where roughly it's going to be, to ask the troops for volunteers to go look at houses for you - those damn realtors have a way of making everything look gilded... :D

Ok, here are a few images. These are from '95, so they're a bit dated, but still pretty accurate. The only real difference is that the basement is now a finished room, (great bar, by the way), and the front porch (beneath the upper deck), is also finished a finished area, closed in with netting. Boats are the same (But both with refinished interiors. Running great). I'll try to get some good shots of the property this weekend. The yard continues about another hundred yards off to the left side from the first picture.

Great bar, you say? You mention this, does this mean we'd have access...? :D

( also! also! I'd be willing to chip in for a karaoke machine rental! )

Well, the bar isn't CURRENTLY stocked, but I can fix that (especially if you all help. :P )

That's in Reading, MI. I'm trying to figure out the closest major Airport. It might be Toledo Express, in which case anyone flying in could form up on me to drive out. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes, but it's only 40 or so miles away, as the crow flies. I'm working on it. I think I can find something closer. Maybe in Indiana, since it's right on the state line.

Hmm, I could probably drive it in Nine hours....

It would be good if we could do it on a three day weekend - I don't know if I would be able to take a week off...

Damn, that's two LONG days of driving, or a flight + taxi.

:(

You won't need a taxi. Fly into Toledo, I'll drive you. I'll drive anyone who flies into Toledo. Seriously. I'll borrow a big van for the time.

That looks like a great place, by the way. How big is it? As in bedrooms and such.
