For all of you out there who like to terrorize newbies...
In my personal opinion flesh and watermellon do not often go well together. But if you insist *sprinkles self with pepper* Pepper is horrible with watermelon (and unfortunately I know this from personal experiance) *sneezes*
I'm very sorry but, no it doesn't. I even tried looking it up.
Why, may I ask, are there four lights?

"The combined force of Star Trek and chocolate will one day rule the world" I thought, but given my present company I drew on my fine command of the English language and said nothing.
I don't think anyones called me a "trekker" yet. And what is with the lights?

Oh I found it!
I sent it to all my Trekkie friends too!

Wait, you call yourself a Trekkie, and you don't get the four lights reference? Oh, no. Somebody had a gif that would show you what is meant, but since I don't have it on me....
They are making a reference to an episode of The Next Generation, in which Picard is caught while on a secret mission. The cardassian who holds him promises that if Picard will only say that there are five lights behind the cardassian (when there are really four), Picard will live a life of luxury among the intellectual elite on Cardassia.

Oh, right. That when they go through the caves in the ridiculous black jumpsuits right? The best I could come up with is in the final episode where all the different ships are in the same place. But there are only three then, so that didn't make sense. Thanks for the clarification.

That's such a fantastic episode!

Glee!!
I love this forum. Most places I go people shudder and back away when I mention Star Trek, but here you all (except those silly star wars lovers) defend and educate the aspiring Trekkie! Yay. Hugs for everyone (except the star wars lovers hah!)

*Scratches head and ponders.* I suppose you can but I still believe that star wars is a diluted form of sci-fi movies and star trek rules. Do you like to read sci-fi too?

Of course! Rar--Video Ranger!

Actually, I'd never heard of it until just now. I said "all kinds," not necessarily "all."

Star Trek rules? Stand on the stage and shake!
They're entirely different ways of looking at the world. One is sterilized and clean, the other is rough and dirty. Both are fantastic.
And, yes, I love to read.

FarScape > Star Trek + Star Wars
The sad thing is that I can recognize an episode of Star Trek after about three seconds of footage from it. My brother and sister were watching the episode during which Alexander's future self goes back in time to try to change it so that Worf will not die due to future events. I took one look at the screen, saw only the face of a klingon, and pointed out the episode.
