Post yer home ;D

Inspired by the latest comic post your home by view of the satalite. If you arn't in the USA I'm terribly sorry but our satalites are too busy spying on your leaders then making a sweep of your country as it seems.

For anyone who might be interested, the kmz file is here: http://members.iinet.net.au/~smaointe/e ... aointe.kmz . The power station on the left is where I work - check out the ash dam. It's a massive pile of slurry, and in the photo it looks blue. I also put Ayers Rock in the file too, it's in central Aus - the world's largest monolith. I thought people might be interested to have a look.

If anyone wants to add to the file and send it back to me, I'd love to be able to fly around the globe and check out where other people live :)

Where I will be living next year

True, Wyoming is a blurry place. With nothing in it. And nothing nearby. In the middle of no where.

Get me out of here. Please.

My home, etc.

The first nine are avatars.

The tenth is my home, or at least where I moved out of 1 1/2 years ago, since I live in a hotel now. Two local restaurants are also noted.

Eleventh: The southern half of the Opry Mills Mall. That place is huge.

Twelfth: The northern half, and a whole lot of parking space.

Thirteenth: My high school, north of which are its football and baseball fields.

Fourteenth: My old middle school, in the center.

That's everything I could find and recognize from an aerial point of view.

Sadly, this is as close a picture as I can get. Google Earth doesn't even have a focused picture of the city.

It's not that small, close to 10,000 people. And it's marked on major maps. It's part of where the "Band of Brothers" movie came from.

*shrug*

It's a nice place.

Did you imagine the final sound as a gun? Or the shattered windows of a car? Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear as you're fading out was a song?
