When is there going to be a new character?

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Hmm, maybe I should petition to get those two fixed. It would save the city and surrounding area from being infected by their creepy hillbilly personalities... :twisted:

I'm a moderator on a text based RPG (that will remain unnamed as per forum rules;). We have several players who are quite active in the game who have a grasp of grammar and spelling that rivals that of the most idiotic of second graders. However, the Administrator of the game will not let me ban them. It is good to see that somewhere out there, steps I wish to take are being undertaken in teh battle against t3h st00pidZ, although I'm a little sad I can't join the fight myself.

Allow me to post a few of the most outstanding examples.

the=teh. once is acceptable...twice is ok. but these kids have not spelled "the" correctly ONCE.
father=farther. I guess the R is silent?
And anything larger than three syllables he spells by repeatedly slamming his face into the keyboard...

Our Admin has a cousin who is legally mentally handicapped...he puts these HS graduates to shame....OFTEN. it's sad.

As for the suggestion of IQ testing before being permitted to join the forums...I've suggested the same thing about our join page.

You can mention the name of it, as long as you don't make a huge deal about it.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

That would require going back and editing my post, and that's a whole lotta work, so I'll just not post the name and instead make this new post explaining why I want to keep things simple.

I missed the party! Damnit! I wanted to join in on the fun.
Oh well. It's still just as fun reading back on it. And just think, we'll have these memories to cherish for the rest of our days! YAY! [/sarcasm]

No, but seriously, GT4000 was great. It somehow almost makes the illiterate forum trolls worth it.

Almost.

Funny how the GREGTRON 4000© appeared in this topic, called "When is there going to be a new character?"... coincidence? I think not.
