I'm having some problems with Trillian.

If someone else sends me an invite and I add them to my buddy list, they don't always show up.

They're there on the list, but even though they are signed online, it shows them as offline.

Also if you have a message window open it will tell you that the person has disconnected even though they stay online on your buddy list (and they are indeed still online).

daveydweeb@gmail.com, if anyone cares. I haven't used the service, yet, since nobody I know on GMail has the client.

I have a headset, just grabbed it today for teamspeak so if I'm on give me a buzz.

To address a problem some of you may be experiencing or might experience in the near future:

I rebooted my computer, and when I tried to log back in, and recieved a message stating that my account was locked, and I needed to log into the accounts page to unlock the account. I did this, and that alone did not fix it.

As it turns out, a lot of people seem to have run into this. You need to go to the password link on the left and lengthen your password. Mine is now over 7 characters, and that seems to have done the trick. Before it was six though....very odd. :|

Is this a problem with the client, or just the Gtalk servers in general? I havn't run into this problem yet using GAIM.

It seems to be a problem with the servers, which affects GTalk, GMail, and your personalized search page. I havn't spoken with anyone else yet on the issue, but when I searched for the message I was getting, there were a lot of forum topics out there about the same problem, so I figured a heads up couldn't hurt.
