If I had the chance, I would most certianly ride a lion around. A ferocious one. Striking fear into the hearts of standers by!
It would be sweet!
Welcome!

Well, if you don't ride around on lions, or pave your streets in diamonds, what the hell do you people do in South Africa, anyway?
I would weep, but my tears have been stolen.
I would shout, but my voice has been taken.
Thus, I write.

Well, we mostly tend to do the same things people in other countries do, such as play games, watch porn and pirate about everything that doesn't already fall into the aforementioned categories.
Apart from that, we try and dodge killer taxi's and other public transport dangers.

I'm barely aware we even have taxi drivers here. Metro buses bitchslap them so much that it's really not worth it.

Smithy, a friend and I were having a highly philosophical and cerebral discussion that I think you could help us with. Would you please lend some credence to the fact that people in South Africa wrestle Great Whites?

I don't know about wrestling them, that would be kinda stupid.... except maybe if they were really not hungry... hmmm...
Some of the psycho people do however touch the great white's noses with their hands and make them keel over, but thats about it.
So no, there won't be any Great White Wrestling Federation matches this week.... Maybe next week... When the sailors are more drunk.

I actually thought you might ride around on an elephant or something. I'm getting the mental image of a person lifting a leg to get on the back of a lion and having the lion suddenly bite him in the crotch. I know how you feel about being stereotyped, I'm from Australia.
/me rides around in a kangaroo, with a koala on his back, wearing a slouch hat, while throwing boomerangs in all directions and wrestling a crocodile
Crikey!

You mean to say you don't pirate porn or games!? For shame!

Hi smithy, welcome to the forums. Be warned that people here are not your normal kind of person (as can be demonstarted by reading any of the other welcome threads, especially the Hi from sunny manchester and Hi all threads)

Well, don't forget about Australians and their love of sheep... that one is real popular over here. And yes, we also pirate games, but not porn, well sometimes.... Damnit! I'm digging my grave here!
Oh yeah and Workmad3: I'm not even close to normal!!!! Mwhahaha!! So hide your daughters!, just not too well, cause I suck at hide and go seek.
