Ultimate list of resources and organizations.
I donated $30 to Habitat for Humanity - http://www.habitat.org. I know it's not a lot, but it's enough to buy a whole wall of sheetrock. >_> I feel glad to have helped a little. \o/
And I'm just a lowly art student. If I can do it, so can you!

Holy cow. My dad threw in an additional $70. That was unexpected. That's enough to buy a kitchen sink.

I've seen a lot of ads for it on TV. I think our stocks are low as it is anyway, and that this disaster brought out a bigger need.
You may ask, "What does the LC stand for?" For that, you must turn to Rorschach, who has decided it stands for
Loose-assed cockjockey
I have no plans on donating. I honestly don't see the point.
"Here, you decided not to evacuate, have some money. Right, you lived in area below sea level, on a hurrican prone coastline, so I'm just going to shell out cash because you were fucking retaahded."
Please. Smart people don't live in natural-disaster/looting mob prone areas.

I would weep, but my tears have been stolen.
I would shout, but my voice has been taken.
Thus, I write.
I donated 5 bucks... its all I can really afford.
Maybe I can donate blood. Is it in demand?
Blood is very much in demand. The medical situation has taxed the blood supply in the region, and they're pulling in from other locations, limiting those supplies.
I've been strongly considering asking the manager of the division if the company would pay my salary if I went there on a volunteer basis.

If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Wow, you really are clueless about the Seattle area, aren't you?
I've been there during the great storm of 1992, several tornados, a 6.8 earthquake, and been in some of the major riots. Don't forget the flooding and some of the massive ice storms that just stops the entire city in its tracks for days to weeks on end.
Seattle is pretty natural disaster prone.
