It would be interesting to see what other financial companies would have to say about this kind of event. If someone set up a new merchant account somewhere and suddenly had huge amounts of money flowing into it, what would they do?

I can see how they'd be suspicious...but I think that the actions they took were quite poor. I've never had a problem with them personally, but that whole story just makes me mad enough to not want to use the service anymore. There's got to be a better way
