About damn time.
It's not awsome news, but it does signify that Nintendo wants people to know it's going to start supporting online.
If only they would use this great good on the Gamecube... Phantasy Star excluded.

Yeah, all the Mario sports games could be great online.

I believe there is a way to set up such things on the internet. I've heard of people playing their Mario Kart online from the Gamecube.... but I don't know what I'm saying.
You may ask, "What does the LC stand for?" For that, you must turn to Rorschach, who has decided it stands for
Loose-assed cockjockey
Warp Pipe is what's needed should you wish to take LAN-enabled GC games online.

Pfft, Nintendo is circling the drain and they know it. Psp is the leading handheld, while xbox and ps lead the consoles. Nintendo is tired, and should just find a convinient corner to die in...

PSP is far from the leading handheld. The DS started off slow, but now has a pretty nice game library; the same cannot be said for the PSP. It's great for media, but not much of a game system.

PSP's only killer app that's even close to a killer app is Wipeout Pure.
Nintendo has an assload of good games for the DS... I still hear from people that Meteos is the next Tetris. And if you don't think Advance Wars is good, you need to be re-schooled in stratagy games.
And
puppies. Don't forget puppies.

See, AWDS is almost a killer app. I'd almost buy a DS just to get more Advance Wars goodness.
Cuuuurse you, Nintendooooo. *shakes fist*

The only PSP "Killer Apps" are just console ports/rehashes. And even those aren't very good.

Is any other DS owner extremely excited that Palm is reportedly developing things for the handheld? That could be huge. I have a feeling that we will view the DS as a completely different animal in a year than we see it now.

Nintendo is churning out kids stuff; poor graphics, wrapped in kiddy happy themes. That or more zelda, eugh.. But I have to admit, AWDS is very cool.
PSP is far from the leading handheld.
I meant performance wise... It's still early days, and its pretty expencive. give it time.

Even assuming you're statements are correct, Nintendo is FAR from death. In the companies homeland, it is still rocking the house. Far more so than the X-Box ever will over there.
