Sigh comics page has been down for 2 days. =(

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Down for me as well - I get a "Document contains no data" error.

I don't understand something - how is it that the comic page won't work, but the forums still do? Aren't they all hosted on the same server (or group of servers)? I've never understood that.

No, Ringthane, the forums and the comic are 100% separate.

Greg owns the comic, I own the forums. There is an affiliation, but there's nothing binding. Should Greg choose to, he could disassociate himself from here, at which point we'd change the logos and remove the comic references, and then we'd continue on.

Real Life Comics is hosted on its own server in one part of the country, and Real Life Forums is hosted on an Illuminus server in Southern California. Different boxes, different ISPs, different owners.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I frequently get a "connection refused" or a timeout when trying to hit the page. I usually get through on a retry, but it seems that the site is usually pretty busy (and slow) when I'm on.

Basically, we've got a stick of RAM going bad. *sigh*

Nothing Ukyo can even do about it until we fix it. It's not like he's doing anything wrong - it's just good ol' hardware failure.

Oh, I didn't know that.

That would explain it.
