Issues with connecting to certain web pages.
Okay, folks, here is the problem:
My web browsing was working just fine last night. I'm able to access all of the websites I usually would go to.
Fast forward to today. I try logging on to several different sites -- among them, http://www.megatokyo.com , http://www.reallifecomics.com -- and find that no matter how many times I try, the loading of the site times out.
Frustrated, I (finally) download Firefox so as to try these websites and others on a different browser. The result? The same thing happens. The loading of the pages time out. Absolutely nothing is loading on these sites.
Now, I know no one else is getting this result from Real Life Comics, for example. I've seen people commenting on the newest comic, and everyone else I know is able to get to the site just fine. So now I am worried about the health of my computer.
Anyone familiar with this sort of situation? Anyone who can help out?
Thanks a bunch.

Maybe it has something to do with the L3 thing.
No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave. -- Calvin Coolidge
Today's liberals wish to disarm us so they can run their evil and oppressive agenda on us. The fight against crime is just a convenient excuse to further their agenda. I don't know about you, but if you hear that Williams' guns have been taken, you'll know Williams is dead. -- Walter Williams, Professor of Economics, George Mason University

... hah.
You know what? Ironically, a half hour after posting this, all the websites which I had issues with suddenly decided to start working for me again.
I still have no idea why they kept timing out all of today up until now, though. But I'll just count my blessings that everything seems to be fine now.

workmad3, check out this thread: http://www.reallifeforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=19078
It was most likely the L3 thing. I was having problems yesterday and this morning. So far they seem to be resolved this afternoon.
Edit:
Update: As of right now (Monday morning, 11:15AM CST) I have been able to connect to nearly every site I had problems with as of the L3/Cog. split. Only 1 site left that is having problems, so it might be a problem on their end. We will see though.
