ill put it this way: if you unconditionally belive any person who comes on the television spouting that somthing that you dont really know about, calling it the devil and evil and such, you my good sir/mam are a moron.

the basic instinct that most human beings have is to read into it, but sadly most people, americans in general (im speaking from experiance, mainly in schools and online, please dont quote me on this) have gotten rid of that instinct.

if this map thinks that video games are evil and satan, good for him. but trying to pin an initire geographic of people (namely US) as evil, violent, and, well considering his recent talks and calls, idiots. is not wise.

if he wants to ban video games, he will have to do it "under fire" (if jack is reading this, which i highly doubt it, ITS FIGURATIVE SPEECH maybe you didnt learn it in english 2) from people who refuse to lay down and let him walk all over them using his mighty power of bending people's words, changing the facts to suit his veiw, and consistantly large use of questionable "research" for every research arcticle he has i can probably find 3 or 4 proving otherwise by unpaid researchers.

Indeed. It;s not so much that we disagree with them, it's because of how unfounded his beliefs are. he makes an assertion, we provide evidence that states the contrary, he completely ignores said evidence and makes an asshole out of himself.

Whatever, he'll run out of steam eventually. Either that or the medi just wont give a shit about him anymore.

the media cares about conflict. so long as he is raising a fuss, there will be people listening. So long as there are people committing crimes, at least a few of them will blame video games in order to get out of the charges.

Jack was on CNN tonight to talk about Midway’s new football game. Like I said in my news post above , this is why Jack is scary. Because he has no fucking clue what he’s talking about yet they put him on CNN to talk as though he was an expert. This is a quote from him:

"The NFL wouldn't allow it's name to be used, so that tells you something."

He doesn’t understand that EA purchased the rights to NFL games and that Midway’s new game is a direct response to that. Like I said before the time for ignoring this coot is over. He can’t be allowed to pull this kind of shit anymore.

Hmm, I suppose it would be bad form to let slip is home and email addresses.

Anyhow, this guy is a nutter, I just hope that he digs himself so big a hole that mainstream media can't look the other way anymore as far as how kooky he is. Once the whole media sees he's not right in the head, they will forget about him.

he held 10k from charity calling it satire, which Gabe and Tycho dontated FOR him, hes called us idiots, hes insulted us, and if any of you have read the nice little chat hes had with VgCat's Scott. youd see how immature he is. also he seems to constantly forget the websites of the people he wants sued/arrested/beaten

also regarding the "good for him" post, i mean if he belives it, whatever, his choice, if he wants to mark a large group of people, which is by now probably ranging from 10 yr olds, to 40 yr olds, as idiots, violent, and evil. whatever, do what you want you KKK like bastard, but dont think taking that bull to the media and refusing to have an intelligent talk with the gamers, radio hosts, and the webcomic artists who you CONSTANTLY bother with your emails and threats, probably moreso than any gamers have threatened you.

I'm not sure if getting rid of Jack Thompson is actually a good idea, now.

But Jack Thompson, as of now, is the vanguard. If he can keep on looking this ridiculous, he could put a rather nasty mark on the entire anti-game ring. He could affect anti-gaming argument like Hitler affected eugenics.
