Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Hey now - no Kurtz bashing. I like the guy. I consider him a friend.[/quote]

There, fixed your size problem Greg.

Seriously? I find that people are nicer to me when in pick up groups. Seriously.

I know it's a bit odd, but the way I see it.... WoW is one of those "persistant virtual reality experiences" I read about in the good 'ol days of say, '94. Why would I WANT to be me, when I can be someone, or something, else. It's all just a game. (An idea Jack Thompson, the media, and the average soccer mom will never get.)

Plus I like boobies.

He hit my ignore list SO fast. Jesus.

I have indeed noticed that people tend to give stuff more often to female characters, though it's more prevalent in City of Heroes, where you have both a chest size slider and costumes that could double as tea cozies.

The flip side is that female toons tend to get taken less seriously in PvP.

My wife and I both PvP in WoW. We both play Night Elf Druids, currently level 16. We will be in the same battle, at the same time, and people will listen to me, and respond to my requests for info. They'll pretty much ignore her.

So strange....

Yeah, sorry, Greg. Used to love PVP up until about 13 months ago. I wrote him an e-mail complimenting the site, he took it really wrong and sent me back a pretty demeaning letter. I responded with how it was uncalled for and such and that he must of mistook my complaint and that he didn't have to be a $#@% about it, then he replied again with a very powerfully egotistical and #$@hat response. Then I stopped reading PVP and picked up CAD and Wapsi Square. I'll stay hush hush on my comments of Kurtz now.

Anyways, on the topic... I generally lean towards female characters(being a 21 male in the game of RL). Chun Li was always my favorite in Street Fighter, Celes in FF6, Mai in SvC Chaos... While I have had male characters in like EQ (Ogre, Hobbit), wheneverI make a more human resemblant character(elf, human, undead in WoW), I make a female. It is weird how people actually respond to my existance and help me out all the time with stuff like "need some help getting around?" or "i got some extra armor if you need some". I explain I'm a dude and they try and cover than bail out early. Like a "im nice to guys too..." then 5 minutes later "oh shit, cat died, gotta go!" It's unique.

Then again, when I roleplay with my GF in game while I'm pretending to be my character, THAT freaks her out

Not really weird, but quite amusing.

When I played EQ I had a DESK alt, and I made it a female, and I got so much help and free stuff, it was interesting. And certainly made the game more enjoyable.
