My head hurts.

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

You should e-mail him back and tell him the reason you have strayed for so long is that you quit playing all video games and will never play them ever again. If he was disapointed about it not being in the comic it will probably devastate him that you no longer play video games..... I can see him crying now.

I learned a long time ago, from having worked not only as a Community Manager and a gaming journalist, and now having a highly erratic webcomic, that at least half of the people who exist on the Internet, in fact, have no thumbs. They are unevolved primeval creatures who are forced to henpeck their mindless drivel onto the Internet, releasing vitrolic statements without rhyme or reason, without focus or concept of reprecussion... the Internet has taken all of the people who should still be working on graduating fourth grade and shoved them directly in front of us.

Therefore, long ago, I learned that pretty much any unsolicited opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it, and should be treated as such. Read, discard, forget, lather, rinse, dry, repeat.

Some paint-chip-eating regression actually sent me an email saying that I should have firebombed Westwood Studios when they let me go, especially since they treated me like crap. I damn near laughed my ass off, because it was wrong on about a billion things. I didn't get let go from Westwood - I actually transferred within EA to Maxis. The Westwood guys weren't horrible about it. In fact, completely the opposite. I hold more respect for Louis Castle than I can even begin to express, and that goes true for the rest of the guys. I wish'em nothing but best of luck over at EALA (for Louis) and Petroglyph (for everybody else).

Don't let it get to you, Greg. I probably should have just called you and told you all of this, but I'm at work, you're packing up and both of us are busy as hell. Whee! Welcome to the modern age.

perhaps one should actually go out and get a life.
Do they sell them somewhere. I can't find a good bargain for one anywhere close to my house.

And Greg...just do what you want to do. You said it yourself. You are dong this comic for you, because you have fun. The moment you start to think about us its the moment that the comic will die.

:shifty: Oh crap what have i said...

I agree. I really hope you write about all the disasters that occur...and all the greatness too! :) Good luck!

Ah yes...as for the original topic: That guy just has nothing better to do with his life than harass an artist. He wants to feel better, by making you feel bad. I, personally, love what's happened with the comics. It's more like REAL LIFE...just as it's supposed to be. People evolve over time - thank God I am not the person I was 10 years ago...or even 5. And because people evolve, their interests change. Or life just interferes, and you are no longer able to do the things you love to do as often as you would like to do them. :) I say...keep on with the good stuff! I'm loving it...and so is a friend who just got turned on to you!

You can have a lot of fun in a kitchen. I still miss first semester intro to pastry class... So much wasted dough... Uncooked soft rolls hurt if you throw them hard enough.
