Lack of updates to a Weekday Strip.

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Look punisher. Greg is doing a very good job. Right now, once after 7 years he missed three comics "almost" in a row.
So what?

It's not going to kill anyone. If you really find Greg a great comic artist to return each day to see his new creation, and have met him i guess you can call him somewhat of a "friend".
Don't you find it weird to rant about something that doesn't even gets to happen every month or so, but once in 7 years?

Come on, cut some slack here. Have you never had a friend who was in trouble, or needed help? You are just mean...Especially when you talk about the donations.

Hey, and Deac, what happened to you?
You made a perfect post for a "civilised" being and then this

WhoaMG! What have I asked for? Turn down your Linkin Park for a moment.

Most of the time when anyone says I resemble someone, they always tell me "Edward Norton". I don't know if that's flattering or not.. I sure don't see it.

On a side-note, what do you think Walken's odds are? Good? That would be an awesome 4 years, indeed.

No. Got it. (Updates total to 27,311/27,312)

As for your disclaimer, no worries.. forums would be a boring place if you couldn't speak your mind.

Again, this wasn't an attack, just a vent. I knew it would draw heat and wasn't even necessary to post, but the times when I come to the site and see there isn't an update, or yesterday's comic have a much more lasting impression than the days when all is well.

Maybe a Mon-Wed-Fri schedule would be the best route to go.

Just a quick word to Greg to say that I fully understand the troubles of moving. I'm having problems keeping up with my 3 days a week schedule since my work offices just moved 2 weeks ago AND my girlfriend and I are moving two weeks from now, It's boxes everywhere. I really have no clue how I'll mangage to get through the next month.

a. greg does not work for you. even if you donated once or twice, he is not on your payroll.

b. greg has never commited for 5 comics a day in return to fans money. he set a goal (for himself) to post 5 times a week.

c. if you feel conned don't pay him anymore... or sue him... just and leave us alone.

d. buying a book is not paying for 5 comic strips a week. you purchased a product not update privileges.

e. by not agreeing with you I am aware I will be called a 'fanboy'. you will ignore anything I had to say because I am a 'fanboy' and therefore not as inteligent as you, or lack a mind of my own.

f. I don't give a rats ass about e.

Check your contract with Greg, if he's breached it in any way you should have his lazy ass in court
Stop dissing on this guy, he's clearly the lone voice of reason and here to speak the truth that we are to cowardly to admit to or see

Again, I have to say:

There's a comic linked to this site?!?

I must be missing out on something good.

I just love the argument "If you disagree with me, you are just a fanboy. Therefore, you judgement is impaired by being a fanboy, which makes my agrument correct by default."

Seriously though, its just a webcomic. Is your day really so ruined because you didnt see a comic get updated on time?

Assuming any of us actualy LISTEN to crappy angst rock.

I personaly think you came in here overly prepaired. Obviously you thought you were going to be dealing with a few people who would instantly jump the gun and run you down as much as they could.

No one here can be classified as a 'fan boy' of Greg Dean. Admirers of his humor, yeah. But I'm not exactly obessive over Greg, neither is my room mate (But he's the closest you'd get to a fan boy around here).

Greg's just one of the guys to us. At least he is to me.
