Another e-mail from an idiot

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Heh, well... this person seems rooted in the idea that you owe something to your readers, and I think that his opinion is, at this point, unchangeable... So, eh... Just ignore him, or, better yet, give us his e-mail adress

EDIT: Oh, and that dancing picture is oddly hypnotic...

Logic is kinda funny. See, even if the comic wasn't "just for fun" and it was horrifyingly painful everyday to get a comic up, Greg still wouldn't owe anybody anything. Well, excepting possible credit companies and kind relatives--but whatever.

I don't remember getting Greg to sign a contract or subscribing for a service. Does this guy? If so, he may need a little more help than we all realize.

Sophira, the alternative to "just for fun" is "a paid service". Just because something is "just for fun" doesn't mean it's fun all the time :P

This reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons...
Comic Book Guy: As a loyal fan, I feel they owe me.
Lisa: What could they possibly owe you? They've given you hundreds of hours of entertainment for free, if anything you owe them!
Comic Book Guy: Worst episode ever!

Greg DOES owe me something. He owes me the hundreds of brain cells that died when reading certain random-funny comics of his (I.E. "made out of truck" and "Zim-BOB-we"). I need them to function properly.

It's a sad fact that you can't even be polite and apologize without someone being an ass. Just because Greg made an apology does that really mean that there's this special binding contract where Greg has to produce a comic everyday throughout the whole year? No, it's COURTESY! It's people because of people that reader that common sense is becomming something that has to be explicitly taught.

On the other hand if Greg ever needs help I could offer a script where Tony successfully rounds up every furry in the world and ships to them to various contentration camps and their remains are used for an anti-yiffing formula therefore preventing further abominations such as furries and their eventual successors such as scalies(lizard and fish anthro fetish, one of the most popular examples being Lizardman from Soul Calibur) and featheries (avian anthro fetishes some of the more popular activities include dressing up for midnight showings of Chicken Run and Chicken Little and re-enacting in front of the audience a la Rocky Horror Picture show). Unfortunately the anti-yiffing movement gets too much steam and everyone in the world ends up looking like something out of THX-1138 where not even body hair is allowed thus leading to the eventual extermination of mankind due to a mutate strain of the common cold because people were loosing body heat much too easily due to lack of body hair. And if anyone even thinks this second paragraph was close to being serious they should seek help.
Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

I would just like to encourage you to post more emails from idiots. They remind me that it's OK to hate people.

I saw recently someone seeking the most idiotic thing someone has done to give them an award (ala king of the idiots). It's impossibile though as they intentionally or otherwise continue to outdo the 'top?' idiot.

My favorite idiot this year demanded a full refund of membership fees for one of the sites I run... Not only was it a free site, it was one that didn't even sell anything/have the capability of receiving a payment of any kind.

I told him that he'd get a full refund and if it was late, every day it was late I would double his refund. Maybe I should have asked for his checking account information to send the refund to.

If the other side of the equation is an idiot, should it even be considered 'social engineering'?
