Who is Lucifer?

Post by Mac3 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 4:07 am

Who knows who Lucifer is? Answer must be in accordance with the Bible, the KJ preferably...
I intend this thread to be more discussion based rather than argument centered...
So, if you think you know who Lucifer is, put tell all!

Lucifer is the one who'd torture us by letting you create insanely stupid threads.

Yeah, what is the purpose of this thread?
"He who lives by the sword dies by my arrow."

"In your histories, there are continual justifications for all manner of hellish actions. Claims of nobility and heritage and honor to cover up every bit of genocide, assassination, and massacre. At least the Horde is honest in their naked lust for power."

Lucifer Sam, siam cat.
Always sitting by your side
Always by your side.
That cat's something I can't explain.

Ginger, ginger you're a witch.
You're the left side
He's the right side.
Oh, no!
That cat's something I can't explain.

Lucifer go to sea.
Be a hip cat, be a ship's cat.
Somewhere, anywhere.
That cat's something I can't explain.

At night prowling sifting sand.
Hiding around on the ground.
He'll be found when you're around.
That cat's something I can't explain.

I read in some random site that the bible was always a little iffy about the mention of Lucifer, oftentimes even relating him to Jesus, and that somehow over the course of time, Lucifer slowly became synonymous with Mr. Satan, the big, burly but cowardly guy from Dragon Ball Z. :P

I dunno. It was interesting but I don't know anything about the bible to comment on its validity. Fun to read though.

(DBZ part was a joke, by the way.)

First off, Spongiform, where do you get that? It's awesome. Second thing, Fey is on the right track. Thirdly... I haven't gotten that far yet.

Your statement is off Blaze.

wow this is pointless and off the section topic.

This is pure christianity theology, not in any way philisophy or science. Its also fairly pointless as you have completely removed any point for discussion by limiting the discussion to only biblical sources.
I'm still an atheist, thank god.

Also a boogeyman for stupid people and an out and out yoink of a few pagan deities

On another note...this is a pretty dumbass thread unless i'm missing something profound.

Noone will answer the question...
As for this particular thread not being on topic with the section, I don't think that theology is a far stretch from philosophy.

You guys just need to learn to keep childish comments out of threads you have no intentions in making an intelligent response.

In other words: If you don't have anything nice to say, go off and fuck off.
