Heard good things about that one also. There is also always the pirate games along the same lines...I forgot the name.
No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave. -- Calvin Coolidge

Today's liberals wish to disarm us so they can run their evil and oppressive agenda on us. The fight against crime is just a convenient excuse to further their agenda. Deacon is, and though I've never played it, I hear nothing but good things about that game. You might also try (though, I've heard that nothing in the genre holds a candle to Grim Fandango) The Longest Journey.

Congratumalations, Metzgirl! You should name the child Rorschach if it's a boy and Susan Calvin if it's a girl!

Rant: No internet since the move.
Rant: Was supposed to have it hooked up Tuesday, but the fucking phone company apparently can't tell the difference between 'A' and 'B', and installed our phone line for the people downstairs. Not only that, but now they want to wait until Monday to fix the problem.
Rave: Despite its shortcomings, I actually like this house better than the basement, even if I have to settle for a room about a quarter of the size.
Ravette: Found some audio cable. Now my movies play the sound through my stereo!
Rave: During the move, I found Gothic II! I even have a computer capable of playing it now!
Rantette: I don't really have time to put into Gothic II. Too much homework.
Rantette: I have to get up a bit earlier to get to school on time.
Rant: I'm probably toeing it in my programming class. If I don't do well on the final, I will probably fail, which will kill my FinAid. Thus, I'm really kicking myself for not finishing much of my prior homework....
Rantette: I'm pretty lazy. Not that I mind, much....
Rave: I have my room set up, and despite its small size (and hence, how easy it is to clutter), it looks pretty damn good.
Rave: It seems that the current landlord is not a complete asshole.
I need fewer water.

Rave: My fiance got a job offer as a researcher (which she really wanted) so she can leave her job in industry (which she hated) :)

Grim Fandango ROCKS!

Monkey Island are also great.

An NHS dentist? Where did you find such a rare creature?
I assume your appointment is next August?[/quote]

Rave: No more toothache, I loosened it to the point where it wasn't pressing on the nerve.
Rave: I can sleep again!

Rant: Now I don't need to buy chocolate milk wholesale.
Rave: I can buy it anyway and make it last. Yay.

How so? Because something is done differently in UK than in US?

Rant: My tummy has pestered me since I left the apartment this morning. I am now sitting down to start a term paper and feel absolutely awful. GRAH

Rave: I'll be done with the semester in one week.

Rave: Bob Seger - Night Moves

Neutrality: So I guess Jimmy Eat World is playing at a bonfire on campus tonight. News to me.. I haven't been a fan of JEW since I heard the polished final release of Bleed American. They never play songs off my favorite album, the raw, emotionally charged Static Prevails, marked by predominantly different lead vocals. I'll undoubtedly be stuck in class till or beyond the concert's start; even with some misgivings, I plan to skip the shuttle and take the long way to parking garage. I could use a break, even if it's an "emo driveby."

Rave: There was a homeless trumpet player under the 110 overpass this morning. He was playing the "Pure Imagination" song from Charlie and the C.F. So soothing.

I second that. Washington finally has snow!! I hope it doesn't make getting to work too difficult (not that we ever get enough to really be a problem).

Rave: I'm beginning to respect the Catholic Church more and more every day.

Wow, the Catholic Church is doing something to make itself not seem villainous.

Nifty.
