Time to be Funny Again

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Time to be Funny Again

Ok, so I've been reading since the beginning. I really used to love your comic dude, but seriously, when is going to be funny again. The last six months have sucked a rather large amount of ass. I have friends who have already stopped reading. Am I going to be next?

If I were that ugly I'd lash out at random webcomic writers too.

Gar. I don't post very often, but it eats me up when people say things like this. I'd bother trying to quote Greg, or one of the forum regulars, but it's been said so many times now it would just feel like beating a dead cat with a 2x4. If you don't like the comic, you don't have to read it. It's that simple.

Hell, I laughed out loud when I read today's strip. Humor is a subjective quality. What you find funny, I may not. I think the art and writing have improved markedly since I started reading. And with all the real stresses going on in Greg and Liz's lives right now I applaud them both for putting up with all the e-mails and forum posts they get saying "Greg, you're messing up my comic." To hell with that. It's Greg's comic.

And I like it that way.

Yes, you are, apparently.
