Have a laugh at this ("Ghost" photos)

Post by FireAza » Mon Dec 12, 2005 11:06 am

You gotta see this, people have been sending in their "ghost" photos to local6.com, most of which of are downright laughable at what the submitter thinks is a ghost. This one for instance:

"OMG!!!11 it r t3h gh0st0rz!!111 lol"
Gee, you don't think that might be rain drops on your lens because, you know... It's raining??? You can find a link to the alleged "ghost" photos HERE. Enjoy, try not to laugh too hard ;)

Jesus Christ.
So many pictures of ghostly "orbs".
So many dirty lenses and terrible photographers.

This is one of those "can you find 5 things wrong with this picture" that puts a scary face up after 20 seconds things, isn't it.

Probably not as I have been staring at it for upwards of 2 minutes.
Is there a figure in black on the right side of the road behing the mailbox?
Is there something in the clouds to the upper left?
Fog on the mountains to the right?

Its a jpg, so no, it won't move or change in any way.

If it's a .gif, and it's a much larger file size then you would expect for the image dimentions, then it probably is animated.

adciv, that's hilarious. But sad. Why?
The controversial Japanese comic book is part of a series that can be found in the young adult collection at the Orange County Library's Southeast Branch.
Well, if it's in an adult section, then what's the problem? OH WAIT IT'S NOT. They just CALL it that. WHY. WHY.

See, "young adult" should refer to like 18 to 25. Not 13 to 17.

Not convincing, but cool pictures to look at in the "what if" sense though. I have seen some more convincing pics done by good photographers that I know in person, but this is one of those "I'll believe it when I see it in person" type things.

Except for places where the age of consent is 13.

Or let people take pictures of rain drops or paper plates floating in the wind or whatnot, and don't lose sleep over it?
