New Year's Resolutions

Post by Lunatic Jedi » Sun Jan 01, 2006 3:57 am

Yes, its that time of year again. Specifically, the end of it. And whether we maintain them or not (most likely not), we all get some shallow satisfaction out of making New Year's resolutions in the blind, futile hope that we may, by mere virtue of just thinking such things, bring them to fruition.

So go ahead, talk about what you HOPE to do, and maybe if you aren't a lazy crap-heap, you might just actually do it. :P
People are like slinkies. Ultimately useless, but you just can't help but laugh when you see one tumble down the stairs.

1) I'll try to find a girl that is not a psycho stalker.

That's pretty easy. Now, to make her your girlfriend, that's a bit tougher.

I fufilled last year's resolution, but not to the degree I wanted. So, I'll carry that over, and say again that I want to lose weight.
"Or even worse are those times when I catch myself trying to twist his message to make it say what I want him to say, and then only hearing that. This can be a very subtle thing, and it is surprising how skillful I can be in doing it. Just by twisting his words a small amount, by distorting his meaning just a little, I can make it appear that he is not only saying the thing I want to hear, but that he is the person I want him to be." -Carl Rogers

Mine is to also lose weight. Mostly just exercise more now that we live at a place that has an awesome gym.

Also, learn to save money more and spend less.
