Ekzier walks over and rubs the still pink scar tissue.

"Yeah, was a nasty arrow two, had a head i have never seen used before, several barbs and made of a metal that spreads out once it enters a target. Elzar through me forward the moment she was hit and dropped to the ground. Luckily there was a healer there was a healer there to remove most of the metal before elzar was poisoned from it, but the scar remains."

Ekzier sighed, he had almost lost elzar that day, and he had counted everyday since a sign of luck. ((Maybe christi could heal elzar and take away the saddening reminder.))

(OoC: For future reference, please use SOMETHING (OoC, AIM, or even a PM) to include what action's actually being done. Means less guesswork for me, that's all.)

Christi says a quiet prayer to Pelor and waves her hand over the scar, which vanishes immediately. Elzar immediately seems to be a bit more lively and energetic, even neighing a little.

ooc: I talked with you in AIM :p
IC:
"The power of Pelor is great in deed." Christi rubs her hands over Elzar's neck and mane. "Now there's a good steed."
She turns to Ekzier.
"Never underestimate the powers of faith. A little when used the right way can bring about a miracle. There is a reason that no battle field healer in this realm was able to make the pain go away, and bring Elzar back to his present state."

Ekzier stared intently as the wound disappeared. Amazed, he went over to inspect where the wound used to be. The relief is Elzar's name was reward enough for ekzier.

"That was amazing, how did you do that? I've tried every herbal remedy i've come across and nothing has ever helped it. Why couldn't the healer remove the scarring?"

"When one seeks to heal something as permanent as a scar, one needs to call upon the appropriate powers. Through Pelor all things are possible."

ooc: trying to make my way there.

"Hmm, i'd like to hear more about his pelor but for now i fear i must head to bed. We have a large task before us and still alot of packing and planning to do. Thank you for you assistance with Elzar."

Ekzier nods his thanks and gratitude towards christi and makes his way back through the tavern towards one of the empty rooms. He locks the door prepares for bed, placing his mace next to his bed....just in case.

"I will have to let you know in the morning, its getting late."

('bout time you two went to sleep!)

The next morning, most of the guests wake up fairly early, although Christi and Seren both seem to be sleeping in. Downstairs, the bartender, Meuric, is back and serving customers, even though there aren't that many left. There are only two traders, eating breakfast and chatting. Judging by their clothing, they seem to be from Khoz Romarr. They immediately switch to whispers when they notice Jarvis.

Meuric looks the party up and down-- He seems taken aback at first, but after a few seconds, he gets back to his normal composure.

He himself looks a little odd for a bartender. A native to Brynmor, he has fair skin, gray eyes, and short auburn hair. It's clear he spent some time as a fighter of some sorts. His face has a few scars, and an experienced eye can see chainmail beneath his coat. He also makes no effort to hide a dagger on his belt.

Then again, maybe he is a normal bartender.

"Yer tha ones Seren talked into this, eh? Why are y'all covered up in sheets? Got somethin' ta hide?" He reflects on what he said, and realizes it may have come off the wrong way. "Don't be gettin' tha wrong ideas, though! If Seren trusts ya, I trust ya. And if ya needs a drink, my mead is always better than that Heilyn's 'wine.'"

(It's now morning, and you have four nights left. All the shops are going to be open, as are the temples, the school, and the capitol. The ports will be taking and sending away ships throughout the day.)

Before leaving her room, Imotuyre attempts to disguise herself as a human. Attention was not something she wanted to attract on the streets. Shen done, she pulls her cloak's hood over her head, to block out the light, and heads downstairs, takes a seat and waits for Seren to arrive.

Jarvis sits at the table eating breakfast in silence, doing his best not to look in the traders direction.

OOC: If the traders leave, Jarvis will follow stealthily follow them (i.e. Move Silently and Hide checks as applicable).

After once again hiding his features behind the oversized robe, malzra goes downstairs and inquires of the bartender is there is any camel steaks left. If there is, he orders that, if not, then a regular steak, again very rare.

After finishing it, Malzra hums a bit to himself as he flips a silver coin to the bartender and walks out the door, mumbleing something at the same time. His appearence shifts a bit, but from the back nothing has really changed. He proceeds to walk around the town, looking around a bit, having not really paid much attention the last time. When he sees the school for the arcane, his intrests pique up and so he goes inside to investigate.

ooc: Disguise self spell to look like a sorceror. Anyone that manages to see through it will still only see the dark robes, the sorceror part is just so they are less suspicious :)

After waking up Ekzier heads downstairs and catching eye of the traders, heads over and sits down at a table next to them.

"I see you are craftsmen, might i inquire as to your trade and expertise? I'm a bit a craftsman myself and always looking for new techniques and styles to share or acquire. Would either of you be willing to show me some new tips or tricks?"

(Sorry, assume meuric's comment happened before seating)

Meuric looks over the group again, remembering something. "Seren told me ta expect a few odd people." He takes a step closer to Malzra, staring intently underneath the hood. "You tha drow?... Nah. Somethin' very odd about ya, though. Coverin' up like that jus' makes ya more suspicious. Sorry 'bout that. An' as long as ya cause no trouble in Brynmor, we'll be acceptin' of ya."

The traders go mute as Ekzier approaches. After he asks his question, they quickly whisper to each other, then one says to him, "We are not crafters. We are merchants. We trade. We sail. We buy and sell. We do not craft." The speaker looks to the other, who nods. They both lean in closer and whisper, so quietly that even Ekzier can barely hear:

"That man sitting over there. That's Jarvis Kale, isn't it? The scourge of the Modan?"

(NP, I made the listen check, and no, you can't hear it. XD)

OOC: Ok, I didn't expect I did. I did chuckle at the question, though. :D
