Hi, I don't think this is the right forum to ask this, but I can't see any other forums I can ask this here.

I've been around a girl I like for 5 years now and I want to ask her out.

We're both at school and we talk and stuff, but I want to ask her to go out with me, probably go get a pizza or see a movie of something. I have thought about going with a few of the boys or something, just so that she doesn't think I'm coming on to her (yet).

There is one thing that I think is holding me back. I have bisexual urges. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

Sorry if this is a bad post, feel free to criticise me.

But please, give me your suggestions to how I can get this fantastic gorl to go out with me.

bisexual urges be damned - I'm not sure what they have to do with the price of tea in China.

Just ask her! Go up to her and tell her there's this movie coming out you'd like to see and you were wondering if she'd like to go with. DON'T TAKE YOUR FRIENDS! Then you look like a chicken-shit. And don't have them waiting in the wings either - as a matter of opinion, I wouldn't even tell them I was asking her! If she says no, big deal...you can try again later if you want.

Just be yourself. I wouldn't admit to the urges just yet. And as long as they're just urges and you don't act on them I don't see a reason to tell her at all until you are getting serious. I'd sound her out on that before admitting to it - and I'm bi myself, so I kinda know what I'm talking about (even if this is from a female persepective).

If you want to ask her out, then ask her out. Just hit her up to go to the cafe for lunch with you and then take it from there.

I wondered the same thing, and then figured he meant girl friend. as in friend of the female persuasion. :)

Beg to differ - I have many male friends with whom I am just friends, nothing more ever to come. One of them is married, the rest are single (and mostly virgins!). So there is such a thing - you just have to be old enough to figure out how to do it apparently.
