some don't let you use them for image links only, so you'll have to put up a halfassed website and pretend to use them first.
"I think all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am."
Angelfire won't let you link out directly. Neither will Geocities. I link out from villagephotos.com which is much improved recently as they have added an option for it NOT to compress your images, so they will come out as clear as they are on your hard drive. But depending on how many images you plan to host, it might not be enough. They only allow 5 megs transfer bandwidth a day for free. I pay 3.75 a month and get 40 megs. Jezzy likes freewebs.com, but I'm not quite so into their setup. I think SLS reccommends Geekshelf.com, which I have not checked out.

Don't get offended or anything but that trick's been around awhile. Kind of handy, but geocities/tripod/angelfire whatever suck anyway.
I'm using http://www.picturehost.co.uk right now, and for sigs/avatars etc, it's pretty good. Not really great for big files, though.
Before that I had Zeetec which was awesome but of course they removed image hosting.

I'm downloading as we speak! Thank you Kazaa! As for servers, http://www.freewebz.com are good for sites, but if you are gonna have a server for images, http://www.netfirms.com is good.

"For AUS$300, you get FireAza drawing your screen image." -MartinBlank "Oh shit. For once, FireAza is right." -Deacon
"FireAza, if you're really that sneaky and quiet then you can sleep in my bed anytime, mister." -kizba
I hear http://www.villagephotos.com is a good place to host images, I host some of my pics out of there, and it's free.
Nice images, people, but we still need more all your base stuff!!!
