School: about half an hour from Detroit, MI

Mother's house: in the upper peninsula of michigan. middle of nowhere. hell. whatever you want to call it.

four hours from Madison, WI and 10 from Lansing, MI

I could walk (across a bridge) to Wisconsin. In fact, I have done so. More than once. Wisconsin also holds the nearest: movie theatre, hospital, Walmart....... the list goes on. Closest Old Navy (or other decent store): Green Bay, WI, home of the Green Bay Packers (think American Football) Lovely.

Father's: literally in the middle of the Nicolet National Forest (in Wisconsin)
