...Would anyone mind if I started deleting purposeful spam threads like this?

Like I said. I don't care. Twas a joke!
Actually, I think these threads should generally be deleted, but this really had nothing to do with my post count...

Why do we even have post counts? Can we just get rid of them? Only mods and admins should be able to see statistics, only so they know if someone is crack posting.

I actually agree with that. A joined date would do nicely.

You know, sometimes these threads actually change to good threads. You should give them a day to make sure.
Don't spammers usually advertise something?

I thought it was like a novelty item of some sort.
on second thought, if ne1 does somehting like this give them a negative post count, just for fun

spam is an integral part of any forum, even though it usually pisses people off.. Also, it can be fun. One man's spam is another's life story

see, billf is a perfect example of when pointless threads work

I like the post count. I like to keep track of how many threads I've made.
I didn't quite make it to 1000 on the old board.

ok, so maybe only the poster and the mods/admins should be able to see the post count.

I like to see other people's post counts too.
Personally I don't see that it matters if people spam. The mods are here to delete stupid threads/ban people if necessary.
