I got oral on monday...
Mine went so well. They stuck me with the needle and gave me some gas. I was awake when the dentist first went in and the next thing I remember was snapping up in a dark room with the nurse next me. I spit out a shit load of blood and walked to the car like nothing had happened. A few of my friends came by and brought me a Slurpee and were surprised at how alert I was. I spit out blood for a few more hours and popped a few pills. I returned to work a few days later. Placing orders and making calls was awesome with a stiff jaw and tons of pain meds. After I stopped the meds, my bottom wounds hurt like hell. Like a pain I could feel through my entire jaw. I just discounted this and figured it was because I stopped the pills. Then someone says to me, "Hey, sounds like you've got DRY SOCKETS." This was probably the worst pain I've ever felt. I went back to the dentist and he stuck these strips that tasted like shit in the holes but two minutes later I was alive again. I suppose that's what I get for having the initial surgery go so well.
All my love, sincerely,
RubyJ

I don't know if I have a high pain threshold or what... I had my top and bottom ones taken out at the same time. The Doc gave me a vicodin right after he was finished. oddly, enough he called me a couple hours later to make sure I was doing ok. awesome doctor... anywho after that I didn't take anymore vicodin. I didn't even get all bruised or anything unlike the rest of my family they all looked like half dead zombies walking around moaning and drooling..heh

Yes, we have said things to iggz. However, iggz is an insufferable rebel who's too cool for school, so he continues on anyway. He did, however, use a less annoying color, though that doesn't absolve him of guilt, blame, or unending shame.

Nobody ever says anything to Iggz. [SAD FACE][/quote]
He and I broke up over it as it happens. I'd thank you to check your facts before making such sweeping statements *sniff*
FTR I use the light blue background, so I don't care

We all have to deal with irritations on these forums, be it colored text, or people derailing threads with worthless comments about said colored text. As tempted as I am, I rarely find myself going into random threads saying: ASSHATS ME NO LIKEY
It's not like the text is bright yellow or anything. As Rors said (damn me for agreeing with that bastard) with the light blue background, it's no big deal.
Back to the topic, I still have a little bit of soreness a week later. It is trivial though, and I'm not bothering even with motrin or anything anymore. What is annoying is that since it is still healing, I can't go and scrub out those new gaps in the back of my mouth properly with a toothbrush. I have to sit and swish for 10-15 minutes to make sure that it is all cleaned out back there.
One of my coworkers here had it a bit worse though, he had 6 wisdom teeth removed, and his father had 8. Ow
