It'll be tough, but I know they can do it.

HAH! Funny stuff.
However, the article should replace the word Democrats with the words "career politicians".
The failures of government is equally shared by everyone involved in the process. Democrats, Republicans and independents alike are all to blame here.

It was disillusioned, disappointed Democrats that wrote that piece specifically about the message of that party. If you're going to say that, you'd really need to use "voters" instead.

That makes no sense. If a doctor screws something up, is the "failure" equally shared by everyone in the process, too?The failures of government is equally shared by everyone involved in the process.
Personally, I blame people who seek to blame everyone in politics and find some politician or other to blame in everything, anything that ever goes wrong...and never thinks to themselves that maybe the voter shares at least some of the blame, there, even the too-cool-for-school mocking voter who sits on the fringes and mocks everyone else. *cough*Democrats, Republicans and independents alike are all to blame here.
