4th April Comic

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Greg's expression with the seaweed and starfish is priceless. Greg has been producing a lot of laugh-out-loud comics lately (not that he's been producing a lot of comics, but that's another discussion :P ) . Good to know I can depend on someone to bring the funny, especially now that CAD has become one insipid punchline after another.

strangely named town in NC (I was told this once, am not sure if accurate): Howaboutit, or something in that regard. It spans from one side of a road to the other. It was an unnamed piece of land and the group supposed just said 'Howaboutit' and it stuck...

again not sure how accurate this is, since I was told this when I was a kid...

You forgot South Orange. Oddly, we have Orange, East Orange, West Orange, and South Orange. But no North Orange.

Fox_Spy, obviously Orange was the original, and the others are in relation to it.

Pennsylvania probably takes the cake, they have Blue Balls right down there road from Intercourse (which for any history buffs out there used to be F**K, the Pennsylvania Dutch word for "having a conversation" or "Intercourse")

For good barbecued food while in Duck, try the Duck Deli (1223 Duck Rd
Kitty Hawk, NC 27949). Or for fancier food, try Kelly's Outer Banks Restaurant & Tavern.

While you guys are out there you need to go south just a bit and go to the Argus Piano Bar and Grill, it's a 4 star kind of place, but the food is to die for!!!!!!! If you tell the owner you were referred by the biker couple who pitched their tent in his parking lot last year, he will know who you mean. It's a very long story, but suffice it to say we stopped for a bite to eat and wound up sleeping the night there. The owner is a fellow biker, but a 4 star restaurant owner kind of guy as well, basically making for the nicest kind of guy you could ever hope to meet.

And for the entire meal there is a man in the corner playing a baby grand, give him a buck in his jar and name any song, really any, and he will play it.

Hey I will guarantee you will enjoy yourself if you go, if you don't I will give you an entire days supply of air!!!!!! I will have it air delivered to you!
