So why isn't Greg in trouble for not wearing his chef's hat?

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

A lot of sanitation IS common sense. We've all heard most of it growing up, at least in bits and pieces. Part of what Saftey/Sani is to do is make sure you know the points, know WHY (which is often lacking growing up because people just know not to do certain things) and to try to get people to DO it.

Common sense does not, unfortunately, mean commonly applied. Most things are very simple rules, but people just dont follow them. That applies to A LOT of 'common sense' ideals. I think one of the issues is that people get lucky and so they get lazy.
