So fast Dean forgets

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Mail some of that rain out here. We've got Dustbowl II starting up.

I was there two and a half weeks last summer and it only rained once, for a few minutes.

Well rain in Seattle is far different than rain here. When it rains in Seattle, its more of a spray or mist. When it rains here in San Francisco, you get wet before leaving the building.

Well, all I know is that every time I've been to Seattle, no matter what time of year, it rains. Even when the sun is shining (which I swear is the weirdest weather I've ever seen). "Hey, it's rai.... never mind it stopped".

:)

Including the insane gusts and the water dumps. I've had less water pouring on me in a spa shower (with 2s head and 3 body strips).

It's a city where only the tourists buy the $10 umbrellas at stands that inevitably pop up during a downpour. They are like buying a icecube in a heat wave. A moment of respite as you huddle under it's 3 foot shell before the next wind gust turns it inside out, snapping/bending the cross-pieces (if it doesn't just snap off completely and go flying) and become san francisco 'tumbleweeds'.

Actually, I'm convinced that someone broke into our car to get out of the rain, because it looks like they slept in the back.

The PacNW has weird weather patterns.. This year it didn't really start raining until nearly November, and then it just started raining.. Usually around the turn of January it snows for a couple days, but this year everything just fucking froze over for a week...
And raining while it's sunny isn't all that uncommon :P
I really need a new sig....

I mean it didn't rain at all. No spray. It was dry.

Sounds like San Francisco has badass rain like New York.

Yes, we have sunny rain quite often in the Midwest as well.

Precipitation here sucks. We only get one or two days of snow each year, and they rarely leave enough to last out the day. :(
I need fewer water.

The Vancouver BC area where I'm from is in the same weather funnel as Seattle, so we usually get all their weather, but about 2 days later :P

wow, I woke a deamon here. I was basically just commenting on the fact that SF this year got like 5 times the normal amount of rain. I think it was like the rainiest season on record. . . ever.
