Comic for 30 May 2006

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Wow... compare the quality of this particular comic to the very first comic. You can see what tremendous progress Greg has made in quality, it's unbelievable :p And that on an (almost) daily basis demands respect, man XD

In any case, from what you can see this is one hell of a huge space station!! I'm so excited to continue reading!! can't wait till tomorrow! :p

Although you really can't see that many stars from space (especially if you're on the day side of earth). It's a big lie perpetuated by movies and tv. Like the moon landing (no, not like the moon landing. That happened.)

Also, the huge nebula in the background :p It's like a scene from TNG

I was thinking more like Babylon 5, where they stuck in nebulas everywhere to provide an excuse for lighting, since they were using computer-generated graphics. Sun not providing enough light? Add in a nebula!

Yeah, MrBawn, you better let those boys who set up the Hubble know that it was all in vain.

Hubble can see more stars because it has a big frigging lens and a bunch of mirrors. Are your eyes the size of a giant telescope?

I didn't think so.

The Space Station looks suspiciously like ARK from Sonic Adventure 2... not exactly, but it looks very similar.

And the nebula isn't a nebula - that's the milky way, botards. :) You know... that thing you can see even from EARTH?

And size-wise...I've not actually figured it out yet, but it's pretty fucking huge. It makes DS9 look like a compact car. :)

Yeah, considering we're not that close to the center, it's easy enough to see on a clear (and dark) night.
