Re: 2006 FIFA World Cup
Oddly enough, Germany-Italy game was propably the best game this cup has seen.
Germany was active, Italy wasn't beeing Italy, whatte hell was that all about.
Old man Del Piero even made a goal.
The game must have been fixed to give Italy some positives about foot ball with Juve and others getting the boot.
Henry did his best Chaplin impression of a man falling. Too bad Portugal was bad.
Onto the finals then Portugal - Germany should be Germanys game, but what the fuck do i know, i thought they would win Italy.
France - Italy
Looking at past tournaments, this should be the nightmare game of the century. But i have a odd feeling they might actually play.
The Lama of Rome has been more of a player and less of a spitter, Zizou is warming up, Henry is lining up for the Oscars as best foreign actor.
hip hei

Ah..
Yeah. in the match Ger. vs. Ita.
They are all good..I'm so glad to see that Italy wasn't Italy then.. But I don't think it can change the style of Italian soccer playing indeed..
As for Portugal..I think they are still young, and maybe, the forwards need a careful practice..

So how does this work? France goes on to play Italy for the championship, right? That much I understand. What's this reference to Germany and Portugal playing? They also play, then, perhaps to determine who gets 3rd place or something?

Portugal isn't that young. They were sporting quite a few veterans this year, of which Figo really seemed to be the only strong contributor. The other striker wasn't a factor in this game or any of the other ones. Although I don't like Ronaldo, I did like his effort today. Deco wasn't around for half this tournament. The game was pretty bad playwise. Not much for a highlight reel. And who likes a one PK win?
Anyway, I remain jazzed for France and Italy. Ribery!

This seems like the perfect place to point out that you could easily find that out via Google or the Wikipedia.

Ah, yes, I must've simply forgotten that I had the opportunity to learn about every aspect of a subject rather than having a simple question answered easily and quickly.

Tankki, have you seen the final France - Italy of Euro 2000? That was pretty good football. Exciting from the start, to the end. France and Italy are known for their strong rivalry. This should be a good match.
