oddly enough it reminds me of the "Dead Parrot" skit that Monty Python did.

As to why people do this sort of thing: I assume because they are crazy. Generally speaking, other people are afraid of the crazies if they seem violent enough. And if you seem violent, people will give you your way in an effort to placate you or get you to just go away. My theory, anyhow.

Is this Science, or is it Philosophy? Either way, I hope they charge the breeder with felony fraud, too.

Why? It's still a nice fresh piece of dogmeat that could be used in a soup. Heck, with all that pounding the meat should've been nice and tender by then.

I'd say she's just being resourceful. This way the dog didn't die in vain... I guess.

"Police said they are considering felony burglary and misdemeanor assault charges against the woman."

Wait, what? Burglary? Did beating the breeder with her own puppy steal her pride or something? How is this burglary? Assault certainly, but I don't understand the felony burglary.

I'm sorry but that was just too crazy. Plus I'm surprised she didn't get any charges for animal cruelty, granted the puppy was dead but to use it as a weapon? Clearly that woman needs medical attention. Psych ward anyone?

Philosophy, of course. How should we look at this? Is it ok? Is it morally reprehensible, or should we be relativists in this case and go "well, if she WANTS to use a dead puppy as a battering ram, by all means..."

(yes I know it's already been moved. :P)

The woman obviously needs to be prosecuted, but I'm with Deacon on the felony fraud, too.
