Okay, two things:
First off, I rarely, if ever, exhibit "attitude" in my posts. I almost always ask questions, because I'd rather find out than assume. So take a little more care in reading my posts. There is little, if any attitude contained therein.
Second of all, I ASKED because I don't know anything about it, and it didn't make sense to me. Since YOU were making the claim, I assumed you had the information. In the future, I guess I'll just assume you don't know what you're talking about, and couldn't help me understand it.
It's not like I was questioning YOUR theory or something. I was questioning a theory you had obviously read up on, and was asking for your sources, since it seemed wrong to me. When your sources ALSO seemed questionable, I was hoping you had something more concrete, so that I might understand it better.
It's a question and answer process. I'm trying to find things out. Relax.

You assumed I had some stack of books or papers on hand or something. Who the hell does that? I've read several reports and studies on the topic, heard it discussed, etc, over the course of years. Not anything recent. And those weren't MY sources, they just happened to be in the top 5 search results on google. I don't generally make a habit of stock piling research data just to back myself up in online forums.
I know what I'm talking about because I don't friggin talk about it unless I'm sure I do. This is something I've known for a "while". It is a highly debated topic in the nutrition industry, and it's something you could very easily research for yourself if you're really that interested. Questioning someone's sources on the internet is stupid. What the hell sources do you expect people to have just lying around?
I didn't make a 'claim' about anything. You make it sound like I just made it up. Feel free to hit a library some day. Or hell, talk to a few nutritionists if you must. You say you just want answers to your questions, and yet you drill people for answering you. I guess because I'm not a nutritionist by trade and don't have a team of scientists in my hip pocket to write up a few papers for you, I'm just talking out of my ass.

Any of the links I gave would help you understand. Your problem is you see the word "theory" and stop reading or just ignore that paper altogether. Fuckin half of science is just theories.

That's the whole point. If you know about it, and I don't, I'd expect you'd have more valuble data than I do. I mean, I can search google too, but when we're talking about something I've never heard of before, I won't have a clue what sources are saying true things in regards to your statement, and which ones are lying. If you know about it, I wanna hear from you.I know what I'm talking about because I don't friggin talk about it unless I'm sure I do. This is something I've known for a "while". And that's also the reason behind me questioning the first sources you provided. If you were believing something ONLY based on a media article and a website advertising a diet, then I think I had a valid reason to question them. Wouldn't you agree, if that were the case? It turns out it's NOT, but at the time, I thought it was.

Back to the milk: it's not especially good for you. You're drinking cow's milk, which is great for baby cows, but not especially good for adult humans. Not all protiens and calcium is created equal; some is processed by your body better than others. Grind up limestone into a powder, and you have the ingredient called "calcium" found in most calcium supplements out there. Doesn't do much good. Taking magnesium with it helps a bit, but it's still crap. And now I'm bored of this topic. Suffice to say, while cow's milk isn't in and of itself poison or anything (steroids and antibiotics don't help), and I enjoy a cold glass now and again, it's not some sort of magic elixer like the dairy industry would have you believe.
The follies which a man regrets the most in his life are those which he didn't commit when he had the opportunity. - Helen Rowland, A Guide to Men, 1922
