dmpotter, this is the first I've heard of any Janus, and Wikipedia has no mention of the matter... Can you point to a source on that? I'm interested...

Janus is actually the name of one of Saturn's moons, NOT the actual name for Earth. In science fiction, Earth is often called Terra, which is the Roman version of Gaia.
Edit: From Wiki
Terms that refer to the Earth can use the Latin root terra-, such as the word terrestrial. The alternative Latin root tellur- is used in words such as telluric, tellurian, tellurion and Tellurium. Both terms derive from the Roman goddess Terra Mater, who was also called by the presumably more ancient name Tellūs Mater. Scientific terms such as geography, geocentric and geothermal use the Greek prefix geo-, derived from Terra Mater's Greek counterpart Gaia. In many science fictions books and video games, Earth is referred to as Terra or Gaia.

February was some lyrics or quotes month or something. I don't even remember what year all this was.

Morpheus, God of Dreams and Illusion? Given how the definition keep changing this could work.
Oh yeah, any news on Sedna?

The BBC reported it as being named Sedna, which I think is a lot better than Xena. Nothing like 100 years from now and people wondering why there's a planet called Xena.

Excuse my ignorance as I am not a Babylon 5 geek, but when I heard Xena and Gabrielle, I was only able to think of one reference... Xena: The Warrior Princess. As far as I know, there are no ties between these two series. I'm not a true Sci-Fi geek obviously, but I have some moments and Xena was one of them.
My question is why Babylon 5 without a single reference to Xena?

His point was that (I think!) Babylon 5 was a MUCH better show than Xena. Ultimately, EITHER would be ridiculous. I believe there is actually rules about naming of the planets that have to be followed, and Xena doesn't fit(nor does Babylon 5).

Sedna is not UB313. That's a different case object deeper in the Kuiper Belt.
Naming planets is actually really simple. The team that found it proposes a name, and the IAU approves or rejects the name. This keeps going until a name is approved. The only requirement is it be named after a figure of Roman mythology.
For example, Charon, Pluto's moon right now (and soon to be first double planet) was discovered by James Christy, who named it after his wife, Charlene. He couldn't call it Charlene, so he chose Charon, the ferryman on the river Styx.

What bothers me about this planet naming thing..I was listening to the news about it..not only are they naming the new planet Xena *currently at least*, but it also said that they were guna add two MORE planets..Plutos Moon, Charon, and an ASTEROID!...
Someone please tell me my news service is wrong, so very very wrong...
Edit:And know what?..I think they SHOULD call the 10th planet Babylon 5, IF ONLY to screw with the people

Actually since Pluto and it's moon rotate around eachother (instead of the moon orbiting around pluto) Pluto and Charon will be combined into a "Binary Planet"

If you don't like what I just wrote, get over it.
