My parents taught us the proper words - mum NEVER called them anything but what they were. I can't stand it when parents insist on giving things cutsie names. I knew a fourteen year old girl who didn't know what a vagina was. She just thought it was her "front bum". Like, what the hell. If you don't tell them when they're young, when will you tell them?
My neice refers to her butt as either her "bucket" or her "bohiney". I swear, every time she says something like that, I get a cavity from the sugary-cuteness her parents teach her.

You think that's confusing for you, imagine what it does to boys. It's confusing when it's all referred to as your "bottom" and there's no distinction between where you pee from and everything else. Even using the proper generic terms, it can be confusing as an adolescent being under the impression that girls pee from their vagina.
