Nothing wrong with using Online banking
Except the bother of having to remember a password and question in addition to the PIN for the cards, and logging in every few days to keep it open.[/quote]
What bank are you with that needs you to log in every few days to keep your online service running?

But they do investigate if you notify them of the scam, they get the folks arrested/shut down. Sadly, it just starts right back up again from somebody else.

All I need for mine is the username and pass. It stays open as long as my account stays open, or until I tell the bank to disable it. Much easier than going to an ATM to check my balance or calling in for my transaction history.
The only complaint I have is against National City's online banking. No matter how many complaints I filed, my account never worked. Ever. Since then I've switched and haven't had a single problem.

I have nothing but hatred for HSBC. It's painful trying to get good service through their auto finance dept. I financed my car through Bank of America and HSBC baught the damned loan. I would never CHOOSE to finance through them. I can't imagine how painful actually banking with them would be.

It's actually relatively painless here. They're helpful, they actually DO things, and, unlike America, I can actually find one of their damn branches when looking for one.
(Seriously, I only found one the whole time I was there, and that was pure chance after having been deported the second time.)

Exactly. I checked their websites, and they have about 4 or 5 branches across the entire country.
Which I found disturbing, they're everywhere here.
