One my big timesinks is working with a cello choir called Low Strung that plays arrangements of classical rock songs. We had an outdoor (amplified) concert last week, and I'm just now starting to get some of the videotape processed.
I just finished editing a video segment (somewhat poorly - the ending title scroll doesn't quite match up) and uploaded it to Youtube:
Low Strung: Don't Stop Believin'
Let me know what you think. We're working on a studio-quality recording for a CD which will hopefully be done in time for Christmas.
Low Strung
The video camera was set up in the audience. We still haven't gotten around to really editing the sound recording from the microphones.
There's other songs; check the myspace account for 2 more (the conversion to streaming music seems to have really killed the sound quality, though).

This is actually the 5th concert the group has done. We just haven't really had recording/amplification equipment until now (we spent the summer scouring the internets for deals on equipment)

Totally awesome, I'll check that out. If I was in the area I'd totally attend a show.
Damn, Stairway to Heaven was much more polished and they really nailed the shit out of it. I've heard that a cello is incredibly difficult to master so damn. I'm quite easily impressed but color me impressed anyhow.
