Oh, it is.

It is.

The one zombie has about 30 seconds to make a kill, because if all the humans congregate, then they'll be all but unassailable for quite a while, especially in the back, bunker corner on turf, or a sideroom in the big circle map...

But once the zombie makes two or three kills, then it's always, no matter how many people you have, a rapid downwards spiral.

I wish there were more elaborate scoring mechanisms (kills as a human vs. kills as a zombie, with mid-round reset) and setups (team-based radar, team-based weapon startups, automatic teamswitching...). But it works as it is. :D

You just think they'll be easier in the Finals.

Well, don't get your hopes up. So far, it's been a home team series, and Pistons have the home advantage.

If Billups keeps choking, they stand a fair chance. I think a Spurs/Cavs series would be a lot more fun to watch, and I don't think Detroit deserves to make it to the Finals again just because they're the default defensive team in the floundering East. What challenges have they overcome, exactly, to make it there? The Spurs are going to take it either way, but at least it would be great for LeBron to finally carry the Cavs to the Finals.

Wait wait wait... you don't think they deserve to make the finals for being the best team in the East? You think an inferior team should make the finals because they're less defensively minded?

Hot Damn! Call the Warriors and tell them they're back in it!

If the Warriors could've cleared the Jazz and then hurdled the Spurs, then by all means they deserved to be there. Your lolololol misrepresentation of what I said aside, it's more a clash of styles than a question of superiority. And my suspicion is that we will have to be subjected to seeing the Pistons in the Finals once again. At least in the West you have several teams who could generally all compete at the top level, the Mavs' meltdown notwithstanding. It could easily have been the Suns in there, for instance.

The Pistons went on a 5 game road trip to ALL of the "best teams" in the west right near the end of the season, and swept them all. Aparently, they've not been "seriously challenged" because they're just better.

That said, James and the Cavs look pretty challenging to me right now.

Oh come off it. That's BS and you know it. That wasn't the playoffs. That wasn't even the middle of the season. That was when everyone was battening down the hatches for the playoffs, and that wasn't even against a team that mattered at all (i.e. not even in their conference). Don't try to pretend that's some sort of indication of awesomeness.

So... we can't use the regular season as a gauge to determine who really belongs in the post season, and yet clearly it's a good judge of their abilities?

I guess I'm confused, because I can't see how you can say X team beat Y and Z teams during the regular season, so they were challenged. But W team also beat Y and Z, and they weren't challenged.

Ahem, moving away from sports...

Rant: Rented Bullet Witch today, it thinks it's a DVD and doesn't want to play the game.

Rave: Also rented N3: Ninety-Nine Nights and that game is like a FUN version of Dynasty Warrior. Also picked up Star Trek Legacy, also a very fun game.

Man, every time it strikes me how bad taxes have gotten here in the States, I realize how much worse they've gotten in the People's Republic of Europe.
