What goes around, comes around.
It's funny how true that old saying is sometimes. First some history. Around two years ago, I worked as a tech for a small computer business here in my home town. Most of what they had me doing was your run-of-the-mill computer repair and manufacture. They set me up with a downstairs office/workbench, gave me the affectionate title of "Basement Troll", and I had a great time. However, from the very beginning, they had me doing illegal installs. Basically, every new computer they sold came with its very own pirated copies of Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Norton Antivirus 2007. Same pirated key for Windows and every copy of Norton was cracked with an obviously illegal keygen. I knew it was wrong to do this and, basically, I really didn't care because I was just following orders. Well, about three months down the road, the owner of the business starts screwing me on my hours and pay; each time coming up with some bullshit excuse for why he didn't feel like paying me what I earned. Finally I became fed-up with it, gave him the finger, and walked out with my last paycheck.
For a couple months I considered turning him in to Microsoft and some of the various other companies he was stealing from (he ran a HUGE FTP server packed with the latest "softwarez"). Eventually I decided that it wasn't worth the trouble and that he'd get what was coming to him. That time is now, folks. Last night, in my local paper, an article was printed on how Microsoft has filed a giant lawsuit against the owner for the aforementioned business. Am I worried about any repercussion's that might effect me? Not in the least. See, when I worked for him, it was all cash under the table. There isn't any paper-trail linking him to me.

My slow descent into madness seems to have abruptly become a flaming plunge.

You should contact the Microsoft lawyer and work out a deal to testify, where they don't sue you as part of the deal.

Today's liberals wish to disarm us so they can run their evil and oppressive agenda on us. The fight against crime is just a convenient excuse to further their agenda. I'm pretty sure that my name was never mentioned. However, a large black van with blacked out windows and government plates came in and got gas last night...

Listen: The entire fiasco has nothing to do with me. The guy Microsoft is sueing most likely doesn't even remember my name and, if by some strange coincidence, he does remember me and tries to pin any of it on me, I've got plausible deniability. I can A) Deny everything (I don't know what you're talking about, I never worked for you), or B) I was only doing what I was told because he said he'd kill me if I told anyone. Besides, I'm not the computer tech they'd be after. The other guy's business partner/head technician is most likely who they'll pin it on. This is because the main owner of the business is about as computer illiterate as they come and it was the head tech who did all the technical stuff.

Yes, because everything posted on the internet is totally applicable in every courtroom in the world. Oh, wait... I guess it's more like being complete hearsay.

Go for a deal and see if you an get a PS3.
Then they'll just think you're the town crazy, and if he says anything, they'll just laugh at him and tell him to stop blaming the town crazy.
Make sure to try and eat someone too. Maybe rip off a government official's arm, and gnaw on it for a while, just to solidify the crazy image you want to project.
